Yep, this. I wasn't really much into H/G in the books and thought that maybe I was missing something that I could better understand if seeing it play out in RL, yet the movies did absolutely nothing to help -_-|||

I agree, it seems like during films 4 thru 7 part 2 the director decided to go a slightly different path then from how JK Rowling originally wrote it. Making the scenes more and more dark with every film, and the characters to suddenly become more withdrawn and agnsty then they were originally written.Β

I KNOW RIGHT. I ALWAYS Imagined Ginny to be more loose, and (For lack of a better word) freestyle. In the movies she's depicted as perfect, and her hair is all straight, with a perfect vest and all that. I always thought she would be a t-shirt and jeans kindΒ of person, or Robes and jeans... But in the movies she never smiled, she was like a robot. a very scared-of-harry robot.

The books are almost always better than the movies in any situation.
Yeah, for me Ginny was just... there. Didn't have that much of a purpose (not counting the Chamber of Secrets).
I haven't read the books in far too long.... I must go back to them. ^w^

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning!
Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.
Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best day of ur life tomorrow. u will either get kissed or asked out, if u break this chain u will see a little dead girl in your room tonight. in 53 mins someone will say i love you or im sorry

To any superstitious minds who may worry, the ClarissaΒ comment isn't true. I promise you that.
(I also commented here because I didn't want to upset the person who posted it as they obviously believed it)

Is it me, or do the original books almost ALWAYS tend to be better than the movie adaptations? Not saying I dislike the movies, because I don't, but... Oh wait, I've not read any of the books. But by the comments and the drawing, they seem to be much better than the movies. Maybe I should read the books sometime.
I really like this drawing, though. The way the book (and this pic) portrays the relationship and the character of Ginny seems much more interesting. C:

It's normal for a book to be better than a movie of 2 hours.
And the adaptation of a book is always hard to do and you can't put everything in the movie, otherwise the movie last 6 hours.

I love Bonnie, I truly do! But they didn't present Ginny as they should of. To me, she appears weaker than she should. I'm starting to question if they even tried with her character. In other words, I don't blame Bonnie, I blame the script-writer.
