On shots like this, I wish you posted a larger file for download so people could drill in for detail.Β  That's one of the exciting things to come out as a bonus from the resolution available with digital photography.Β  It allows a whole different level of interactivity by the viewers.

those lines on the bottom just emphasize the chaos beyond the crossing. all the people waiting to cross give the image a sort of tension, like held breath - I love it.
