Your awesome stormcloud photo is featured here:
Harvest ColorsOctober is filled with colors of gold, green, brown, contrasting sunlight and majestic storms with shortening days. It is a time for rejoicing in the beauty and bounty of nature, and all that within that reflects the light of our Creator. As always, I try to present works with fewer than 100, 200, or 300 faves, with only two exceptions. I hope you enjoy this month's selections, I encourage you to bless someone by nominating them for a DD, and thank you always for looking! -Debra

Thanks! I applied HDR in photoshop. It was my first time to try HDR on a photo and it turned out pretty good. I'm learning pretty quick that you've gotta be careful with it though!

Hmm..well it looks like in the process of messing around with it in Ps I applied some blur to it and didn't undo it. Definitely need to go in and fix that, cuz it gives it a weird texture.

Look at that explosive development! I've noticed that all/most the tornadoes of Nov. 7 seemed to have so much movement around the middle and top of the circulation... almost like if it had a circular field of dust around them. I love the gaussian/oil paint feel of this photo.
