Description
After about a week of art block, I was finally able to draw again.

Had this character concept sitting in my head since grade 6. We were learning about the Egyptain culture, and the gods they worship. One of them was Ra, god of the sun. The entire class, I was zoning out, thinking about random stuff like, "I wonder what I would wear if I ever went to Egypt..' Our teacher then showed us a pictures of different cultures around the world. One of the pictures was a warrior looking guy wearing white cloth around his waist, without the shorts underneath. I started thinking, 'I'd totally wear something like that, with shorts underneath, during hot weather.."

Later that week, I was watching Sailor Moon on youtube. (Yes people, I am a hardcore Sailor Moon fan XD) I started thinking 'I wonder what Sailor Sun would look like..' I already imagined that Sailor Sun would be a dude, since the sun is a star, and that the Sailor Stars were dudes on Earth. I then turned to the concept of the cothing I would wear in Egypt, and totally tripped it out. I added designs and color everywhere I could. But it still wasn't finished.

Being as I couldn't draw worth shit back in grade 6, I just kept the character concept in my head for 6 years. Finally, being able to draw on SAI, I was able to sketch the design out, color, and shade.

This is still a work-in-progress! The color scheme and details are not final. I am still experimenting with stuff so clothing designs might be changed.

So yeah.. this is my Sun Guardian person, inspired by Egyptian clothing, and Sailor Moon.. (Don't those two go well together? Lmfao) Oh yeah, and the character IS a dude. Just letting yall know. XD
