Though to be fair, I both like the Cambion version, and the Nephalem version of Dante. Both of them. Although I could be wrong, but it DOES make sense that the Nephalem version of Dante lives in an alternate dimension in the DMC modiverse, compared to the other Dante who is a Cambion.

I think this new Dante is the best because he has a great design, he's got a mix of seriousness, cockiness and such badassery that it's crazy NOT to think he is the best. But still, I love the other Dantes too. :3

i think it's a good revamp for dante, revealing sorta the mess he went through; i mean, his mom got killed. he's gonna be going through a lot of trouble, plus he's around that prime age.

He is not hotter. He looks like an emo anorexic drug addict. He is not the real Dante because He is a new character with a new look, new voice actor, new graphic concepts, new scripted corny jokes. He might carry the Dante name but that does not make him the Dante we all know and love. It's like two people in the same town named Emma. (They are and never will be the same person even if they have the same name.)

well yeah i guess but he is the real Dante he's the same yet different...he's the opposite of all the old Dante's he IS the real Dante but you are right he's not the Dante we all know and love (i don't love or like old Dante at all but a lot of people do) and so what if he looks 'emo' now? im emo ya no... ehh anyway who cares if he looks like a drug addict who cares if he is one? and you cant tell me he's not hotter you don't have to think he is. but i do. im not saying everyone has to like him. but i think he looks cooler hotter and overall a hell of a lot better! but that's just my opinion so do you think that because you don't like him i cant?...i like him more because he's not a pretty boy like old Dante was. new Dante looks like a man (yes i no he looks anorexic so...he's an anorexic man?) so anyway he is the same character but he's not the 'same' person, and i can go on all day but i'll just stop now.

Would have been nicer if the director hadn't self-inserted himself. And the actual game design does not look as cool as your drawing. I liked the previous Dante's look because it was more iconic. This design just looks like a random guy. Still, we should wait until its out first. More plot is always good. As long as Dante's personality hasn't changed too much.

I'm digging the reboot; I think the whole thing is freaking cool. Sure, the old series is cool and all, but the content, the plot, the characters...they were lacking. Seriously, WHAT PLOT WAS THERE? Dante was basically a cool smartass that did awesome stuff and...that was it. Not much more.
Reboot!Dante looks like there's going to be an actual story to the game, and that's pretty awesome.
