Splinter has grown from this experience, learnt some things about himself and has come to terms with who he is and what sort of life he is now living. And he's realised that he's actually fine with that
change is hard, it always is, but sometimes it's a blessing in disguise. I hope every-one enjoyed my little story. I thought it'd be interesting to write something to show Splinter's transition from orphaned rat into loving father.
I really want to thank every-one who left comments and feedback on these pages, you guys are the best
As I said on the first page, for a while I was going to abandon this story because I didn't think any-one would like it. I'm so happy that some of you enjoyed it as much as you did. You encouraged me to keep going and finish it. Perhaps one day I'll do another short story if I feel the urge to.
As for those who've come late I hope you've enjoyed the story as well
I've never done a comic like this, so I'm really grateful for every-one's support. thank you so much!
Raphie is safe, the family is together again, and Splinter has made peace within himself. It's time for some well deserved sleep in the warm nest

perhaps it was easier for me to play with the camera because this is another "passing of time" page like the one where Splinter's sunning around in a panic so I didn't need to be as sequential in the panels as some of the others (You can tell I'm an animator and not a comic-artist XD what do they normally care about how sequential their panels are?)
And yes, let's not go into the eyes again 
I dunno about director material but heaven knows I wouldn't say no to the job 
XDDD and you love your Leonardo don't you? nah but he's awesome *clings to him* I don't know about completed short stories, but I have some ideas cooking for some "scenes" that are PART of larger stories I could put down into comic form. They may not big contained stories but they're scenes I feel are powerful enough to be enjoyable to see play out in sequence, but I see you're online, I'll elaborate elsewhere so as not to spoil the surprise for those who might read this.

I really like stories exploring the first days of splinter and his four new sons, because there had to be so much emotion attached to it with the mutation and the sudden responsibility. I really like the transition you create from the instinctual animal to a more sentient being. And his battle with his overwhelming new emotions... and poor Raphie, it's so like him to deal with his emotions by running away all aloneΒ Β
It was really difficult for me to dinstinguish between the four turtles first (except for Mikey ^^ he has the cutes poses 
Amazing comic, great emotions and so so cute all the way! Love itΒ Β

I've just finished reading it all. I found it was all PERFECT. I LOVED LOVED LOVED those eyes! Although it needed colour, without the skin tone I couldn't really tell whcih turtle is which. Besides that it was absoloutly PERFECT!!!

I drew this a while ago but I'm glad people are still liking it X3 personally, I prefer black and white comics, probably because those are just the comics I tend to read the most (with exceptions).
