Voice acting brings me such a thrill, its giving life to a character in a whole other way. Acting without the cameras trained on you! ^__^Could never do it in a studio though...

Voice actors, to me, are a completely different world than just actors: they have to 'act' with their voice... and nothing else! :0 I would think that would be super difficult! Anyways, I'm dabbling in the art, so I'm totally faving this!

Thing is, most if not all VAs act with their body as well, doing various gestures as they speak - you just don't see it on-screen in the finished product (unless companies like PIXAR model the character's behaviours off the actor). But yes, there is an additional level of challenge making sure emotion carries through enough, conveying those little nuances known in the business as 'reacts'. A lot of fun, I think!

I love voice acting on the old Final Fantasy games. I try different accents and stuff for all the characters. I could never do it professionally, of course, but it still counts, and it's still so much fun.
