She doesn't. But she's the most gifted physical combatant in the Bat family. When asked what would happen if Batman had to fight her Bruce said "I'd lose." without hesitation.Β Her whole shtick is that her first language was body language, that she didn't learn a verbal language until later in her life, so she's able to predict what people are going to do effortlessly, and she was trained as an assassin by one of the best. What this means is that every strike is precise and with a purpose.
The trade-off, and why I love her, is that she's isolated because she has trouble communicating. She wants to be closer to people but doesn't know how to express it, and because she's so deadly people just assume she's fine.

I'm guessing it doesn't help that she has Batman as a boss. He doesn't strike me as the type who could help with that socializing part.Β
