I went creek-walking at the Swiss Valley Nature Center in Iowa and discovered this little guy. He was surprisingly calm, and after he allowed me to snap some photos, he flew off.

Monarch butterfly is my favorite. It seems to be little dark but absolutely i am loving these. It's truly clean & crisp, i wish i could get up very close to a butterfly like that, it can hardly to capture any flying insects specially the bees & butterflies.

I agree that it's a little too dark. I took the photo while the butterfly was in the shade of the plants, and I couldn't brighten it in PS without making it look fake.
Monarch butterflies are also my favorite. They're so big and beautiful.
