on my phone screen the pink shows up as purple and everything gets darker but on my computer it's ok so i don't know which one you guys are seeing but it's supposed to be like bright pink n purple ; v;

†. H I S T O R Y;
Prague grew up in central/eastern Europe, though he doesn't like to say where exactly. What is given that his family was poor - and in times of famine throughout the nation, living on the brink of the death was a daily thing. He and his gang of vagabonds - a family he had made for himself as his parents were out often working long hours in the factories - stole food from the fields and were generally left to their own devices. And, as young boys do when unsupervised, got into various kinds of trouble playing pranks and bickering.

He is the fourth child in a family of five, with two older brothers and an elder sister, as well as a younger brother. All five children held jobs on their spare time to earn money, and took care of each other in their parents' absence.

It wasn't until he was 12 years old that he got to attend school for the first time, and finally learned how to read. He was quick in catching up with his peers, and though not the sharpest nail in the box, did moderately well. However, even though he became a student, his outside escapades of getting into trouble didn't end there.

When he was sixteen, he was a handful - too much for his parents to handle. While their socioeconomic situation improved to some extent, the now-going-through-puberty rebellious teen was getting a bit much. The way he left home was not with any bitter feelings ; he wanted to leave just as much, if not more. With some spare change he set off - finding work in an odd antiques and books (read as: occult) shop in the worse neighborhood of a bustling city. Here he worked for many years, saving up money bit-by-bit and sending back the extra to his family.

Eventually that shop, had to close as hard times fell upon the country once more; and with a new hope, set his eyes on America. Packing what little he had, Prague scrounged up his shady connections to loan a few thousand and a fake passport, and off he went once more.

The sky is blue today; clear of clouds save for the ones the jets leave in their wake. In a sea of a hundred moving bodies, Prague stands alone and unmoving, an island in the current. He is looking up but not seeing, in his mind saying a brief good-bye to his homeland. The uncertainty -- the first taste he has had of that snake in a long time -- curls and smokes in his gut, and he sends a prayer to the heavens that he would come home in the not terribly distant future.

It is the accidental jostling by a young girl that knocks him from his daze. She quickly moves past like all the others, not stopping to apologize or even acknowledge him, bustling, bustling by. He looks down at the satchel in his hand, cheap and well-worn like the clothes he wears, and he thinks for a moment to catch a taxi, go back to his hometown. But it's too late now; the crowd has swept him along, through the fancy automatic doors and into the terminal, where announcements in his native language boom of arriving-at-gates and last-boarding-calls. The departures board blares flight numbers in bright yellow, and, double checking his ticket, he finds his plane. QA726.
