Spitfire at the Dizzytron

From MLP Season 3, Episode 7 - Wonderbolt Academy
(Show reference image: [link] )

This trace is from the scene where Spitfire announces the Dizzytron to the ponies.

I took some liberties when tracing, mostly with the hair. The strap on the whistle was moved a bit because it was not really supported by her neck in the original frame. I also added a complete tail and legs be referencing her other poses from the episode.

Color is taken from a color guide that was kindly suggested by someone - I sadly don't remember where to link to... :-|

I can't believe I really did this in one session... it's already early morning now... but it was kinda worth it..

I'm trying to see if I can play this by the MLP-Vectorclub rules, even if I am not (yet) a member:
- New high-resolution image (3k instead of 1k)
- Show reference image in Sta.sh

Also: I changed the whistle outline from black to dark gray - looks better today. Also fixed a very small glitch at the uniform. SVG Link updated (changed).

Use it as you see fit - but keep in mind the proper use etiquette
If you use this in something you create and intend to share it (on dA or wherever you like) I expect you to credit me an appropriate way. If you just intend to use your creation only for yourself (avatar, etc.), then just go ahead.

War es definitiv Wert, deine Vektoren sehen immer klasse aus!
... Ich bin mir grad nicht ganz sicher, aber schickst du die Vektoren auch zur "MLP-Vectorclub" Gruppe hier auf dA? Die Moderatoren dort sollen, wenn man denn will, auch sehr nett und hilfreich sein ^^

Abgesehen davon... interessant, dass die Trillerpfeife tatsächlich schwarze Kanten hat, sieht man ja sonst nicht sehr häufig in der Show.

Ich kannte bisher nur die "Vector-MLP" Gruppe - muss mal schauen... so viele MLP Gruppen.

Die Pfeife ist wirklich ein seltsames Objekt. Die sieht so garnicht nach MLP aus - eben wegen der schwarzen Ränder. Aber so hab ichs im Bild wahrgenommen...

Ja - die Pfeife ging mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Jetzt habe ich Frieden gefunden...

Und ja, den Club habe ich gefunden. Harte - aber sinnvolle - Aufnahmeregeln. Ich versuchs mal brauch aber noch 3 weitere Vectoren in der Qualität für die 'Prüfung'.

Und danke für den Link - immer schön, wenn Dinge verwendet werden

Ist auch gar nicht einmal soweit davon ab
"Vektor-Bilder" sind insofern anders als normale Bilder, als dass (wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, ansonsten kann mikro mich gerne korrigieren) wie bei 'normalen' Bildern nicht einfach jedem Pixel eine bestimmte Farbe zugewiesen wird, sondern dann alle Formen die man sieht im Prinzip mathematische Vektoren sind.
Das klingt vermutlich recht seltsam, was wohl vor allem daran liegt, dass ich eigentlich keine Ahnung davon habe, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass im Zweifelsfall Wikipedia weiter helfen kann ^^

Was ich sagen wollte: Hinter dem Bild steckt im Prinzip der Vektor, den du aus Mathe kennst.

...also ich könnte jetzt an deiner Aussage ne Menge und lang rumkorrigieren - aber ich möchte nur loswerden: die Formen sind keine Vektoren, sie werden über Vektoren definiert und dahinter steckt ne Menge Mathematik. Vektorgrafiken zu machen ist einfacher als Vektorgrafiken zu verstehen
