'Describe what you call art'To me art is something from the heart.
It's an embodiment of a vision,
It's a display of ambition.
An artist's work is never done,
Cause to the artist the work is only part of the fun.
An artist tries to show his emotions,
While sometimes hiding his true motions.
They say the eyes are the gate to the soul,
That's why an artist will never look foul.
They guide people through a world only they see,
A world filled with mountains, miracles, oceans and land seas.
So whenever somebody asks me: 'What is art?'
I do not only answer: "Something straight from the heart,
It's everything we know and that which we don't know.
It's hidden by the illusion of reality only certain people can see through."

I would say art is an outlet of expressing oneself. This would also include the art style one has in addition to medium

Hm... I think I know it and I want to say what is art for me, but my english is not perfect, so probably I'll use wrong words, but... I'll try.
I think art is the way whereby we can show ourselves. We're Using the right tools to transform emotions for something materialistic, something that we and people around can see through the eyes.

And, to add, I agree with that this poem lapses into doggeral at times. Try reading your poetry out loud to yourself next time, and work on making the rhyhmn smoother and more natural.

yeah sorry, I think my accent and bad speaking skills (stuttering and sometimes sounds are a little deformed) have influence on that too so I would need somebody else to read it out loud >.>

Seems a bit romanticized (though that's not wrong, it's your opinion), but nice imagery of what art is. I cringed when reading a couple lines because of the disturbance in the rhyme pattern, but other than that, it flows really nicely. To me, this wasn't touched up or messed around with, and it's just a person speaking honestly.
Personally, art is a means of comfort for me. To know that I do posess some talent and to have something that seperates me from others, yet unites me with a similar community. It's basically a reminder that I do have a chance in this world, I just have to work hard for it, and have some fun while doing it. Really, art is just...awesome! It'd take a whole book or book series to fully explain it. There are so many factors, feelings, and outcomes that come into play.

Thank you for the review, yes I know that sometimes the rhyming isn't perfect but since I speak English not so well so sometimes the words sound really different when I'm saying them so than rhyming can sound right to me without it being so >.<
I know art is amazing, I met so may great friends through art and art always comforted me when I was down. If I work hard then maybe I will become a good writer some day, or at least so I hope.

I honestly think it's a way of showing emotion, saying stuff that words simply can't, because on a white canvas, or paper, everything is possible
