Oh, my lord, I /want/ this!!!! I /love/ the veiny planet!! It's simply amazing. I'm still trying to comprehend how you did it. One slight tiny gripe tho... There's not enough of that mind boggleingly lightless black of space so up close it looks slightly flat. Just slightly. I'm only offering a humble oppinion while I bow to your amazing skills. The end of the comic? No. (dies) That would be ignominious to say the least. The planet's simply been 'returned to dark' which'll be explained later.

Well, as far as web design goes you need IE 6, IE 7, Firefox and Opera and Safari, as a general rule, to test in--all the main browsers. XD

Lol. There's a browser tester, I forget the URL, but if you google or search for it.. there's a site that you can submit your site to and it'll test it on all browsers.

so the veiny-ness of the foremost planet is officially my favorite texturytype section... the balance of the two planets in the light of the nebula is a little funky, but I'm not really complaining. since I can't really say anything about landscape-y non-person-type art at all... yeah. Glowy.

What resolution? (pokes the download link) It's plenty big, it's just tall and not wide. My own resolution is 1440x900 so I tend to make things big enough for that size of wallpaper...

I was following a tutorial for planet creation, actually. My choice of texture might not have been the best (I hate using tutorial supplied resources, because then mine looks like it was done using that tutorial), but then, does anyone say all planets have to look alike?
I have already gone hunting for some new textures on sxc.hu, though... I knew they were subpar... see, my collection is mostly paper textures. XD But I have a few good rock textures now and I'll use them next time.
I dunno if I'll keep it up too much, I'm a people artist more than a space artist, but I do think I'll try more. The nebula was way fun.

Yeah, I guess I did have it in me or it wouldn't be here. I can't do animals, though. I just draw people. Some landscapy stuff. Mostly just crappy figures, though.
