Beautiful work! I love your choice of colours and the degree of realism - but what I like most is the fact that... the otters seem to be relaxing in the water in a manner that seems almost human.

Beautifully done! I love the texture of the fur - great job getting the fluffy, dry fur on the belly and the wet, spiky fur on the sides.

*gasp* i've loved otters ever since I was eight years old. they seem like the laziest creatures on earth (as well as the most content with the world!)

Yes! My love for them has spanned many years, but my knowledge was greatly expanded recently by an animal planet special on otters in which I learned that sea otters have kidneys more than twice the size of other otters and for that reason alone they are the only kind that can live in a non-freshwater zone. Fascinating!
