Well, I basically just wanted a banner to say "Fuck PETA" but I thought a little list off the top of my head would be all the better. Seriously though: fuck PETA.Oh, and the Ingrid Newkirk photo is Google'd - so I assume it's rolalty free (and if not, it's definitly fair-use).

Yeah, PETA just goes on an on about animals, but most people don't realize that they really don't want humans having anything to do with animals. They think it's better to kill the animal than to let it be 'a slave to humans.' Good List by the way. I like the pic too.

Ummm... I saw the pages from link that you posted and done my own researches, and now I'm a little bit...confused 
To express myself clearly, I'm not a vegetarian and I'm not against eating meat, I'm against the method of cultivating and killing. Treating animals like objects - that pisses me of, most of people don't care what were earlier the things they eat, they don't want to think about how "died" the meat on their plate. All I want is the revere for animals, just like native Americans have, I want to live in agreement with nature and my own conscience. That is why I can't stand how horses, cows, sheep etc. are transporting and killing, I'm still wondering how butchers/people who are in charge of it, can call them selfs a human beings...And the worst thing in my country is that the majority of people are religious Christians and still treating living creatures ( animals and humans) like shit, of course God didn't have that on his mind when He gave Eden to Adam, right? In other countries there's similar situation. Pfhh...fucking hypocrites... and if all about PETA is truth then they are even bigger fucking hypocrites because they cheat people who have good intentions!!!
Sometimes, when I'm watching the news on TV ( not only about animal abuse) I'm starting to think that people, in general, are really worse, not less important(!), than animals... 
Referring to cow milk case, I know that some children, and adults probably too (even my cat had it D:, vet forbidden cow milk for him) have something like protein diathesis, it's some kind of allergy but I'm not sure about name of it

first off, peta doe NOT say that eating animals is "exactly" like the holocaust...they simply make some undeniable connections between the treatment of Jewish people and the treatment of animals...it is not a form of antisemitism, simply another way of looking at things.
and this whole thing about "peta kills pets/animals" is silly...whenever an animal is euthanized, they are kept in a big freezer to keep from decomposing. This is true at veterinary clinics and wildlife rescue centers, both places where i have worked.
also, as a member of peta, i feel it's unfair to make general and rude comments like "fuck peta" becaue they pretty much put down anyone who agrees with anything peta says...if you care so much about an organization supposedly killing thousands of animals, doesent that mean you care at least a little about animals???
to say that an organization as big as peta is not allowed to euthanize animals it cant find a home for or are wild is unfair...at least in the mean time they are trying to find a solution to the problem so euthinization does not have to continue...

Peta is not a good organization. Let's take a minute to think about what they claim to do: nothing. They aren't pressuring government changes to change animals rights, they aren't investigating claims of animal abuse and reporting it to the proper authorities, they simply do nothing of any value. They collect money and use it to further misinformation and terror.
I am putting down everyone who agrees with Peta. If you really, truly agree with Peta - that all animals should be free, and to use any means necessary to achieve that (including firebombing medical research centers, assaulting researchers and the general populace, using terror-tactics to promote an anti-pet/anti-meat campaign) then you too are a terrible person. If you don't agree with these tactics, you are at odds with Peta and should change your allegiance accordingly.
The killing animals thing: Peta collects pets that cannot be cared for, and then kills them instead of finding them homes. Several Peta member have been arrested for being caught dumping the carcases in dumpsters.
The comicbooks/fear-mongering websites/protests/etc: Peta produces misinformation and then promotes them to try and convert people to their purposed lifestyle.
Terror: Peta has given money to convicted murders and arsonists. They have also sent these convicts into schools to promote their agenda.
Hypocrisy: Peta is vehemently against animal testing, yet many members (including vice presidents) continue to make use of such medical advances. Indeed, animals testing has given so many gains to modern life, I doubt anyone is not touched in some way by it.
I do believe that animals have rights, and that's why I say 'Fuck Peta'. If you believe there's amoral reason to not eat animals, or to keep them as pets, then stay true to that and if you think other people should believe that way too, then by all means try and convince them.

okay, well obviously you have some very unreasonable and strong hate towards anyone who does not agree with everything you say and think you have the right to tell anyone to fuck off...I however think that everyone's opinion matters and was simply trying to have a intelligent and constructive conversation (something you call "firebombing"). It seems however, that you do not believe in having your opinions questioned and think that anyone who disagrees is a "terrible person", the frame of mind which will get you no where socially and will most definetley not make you more likable...

No, I mean firebombing as literally creating an intense fire through use of an exploding device. The 'Animal Liberation Front' is a domestic (that is, American) terrorist organization who's members who are caught and convicted receive financial aid from Peta.

You seem to think I am against all opposing viewpoints - to the contrary, I am quite fond of discussion and compromise - which is why I am opposed to organizations that assault, intimidate, and insult those who disagree with them, like Peta does. Actually, that link shows a page where PETA says that you should buy birth-control pills for your pet, not spay/neuter them.
Also, they heavily insinuate that mixed breed dogs are superior to pure breeds - which is simply not correct. Mixed breed dogs have both physical and psychological characteristics that pure bred dogs do not. Mutts are more apt to get normal diseases, chronic diseases, as well as having non-uniform behavioral patters (compared to a pure breed, who can be well assumed to follow known standards of aggressiveness, intelligence, and playfulness depending on breed.)

that's not an entirely invalid claim. there are lots of other sources and organization, many that are not connected to veganism, that warn that milk (from cows) may cause cancer. it's been on BBC news and the like and a lot of research has linked milk drinking to ovarian cancer.

What's rather demented is that several major PETA supporters, including Newkirk herself, use insulin and other medicinal products that are resultant of animal testing.

penicillin is from bacteria, not animals.

Animals are very useful for scientific research. Many animals have near-identical physiologies, and thus can be used as a basis for further, safe, testing on humans.
The human body does not produce some necessary vitamins. Only other plants and animals produce them.
Firebombing a medical research facility is a terrorist act. The research that is destroyed or delayed by that act of terrorism would have saved human lives.
PETA claims many falehoods to gain publicity and sway the weak minded. Off the top of my head there was the recent accusations that Apple Computers created excessive amounts of carbon-dioxide is producing their PCs, and they famously suggested that milk caused cancer.
Animals aren't equal to people. The difference is clear and obvious: sentience. Animals do not understand the world around them. They are, by all measurable amounts, lesser lifeforms.
