I don't normally do comics but I just could not sleep- like at all last night, so my apologies if some of the panels are a little wonky, insomnia does that.I started working on Rippers Dawn of the Dance outfit and then I realized she doesn't have a date! she doesn't really know any boys so I figured this was a great opportunity to introduce my new monster Oxford Junko: son of the toxic avenger the irony here being the one boy she does know and kind of talk to she would never go out with. it's worth noting that it's not particularly Ripper he's attracted too...it's anyone thats single.
Let this be a lesson to all boy crazy teens...you wish and wish and wish for boys to like you...and then one does and it's...that.
be careful what you wish for.
...in the end Ripper is still hunting for a date and Ox is still hunting for some booty...don't be TOO quick to judge Ox, he's a nice enough guy he just wants to get laid.
btw: In case you're wondering who Ripper is texting it's her best friend

Aaaaha love how you do the texting heads. Also "my beautiful black panther" oh my god what a creeper. Anyway, really cannot blame her for refusing the date, but this is a really cute comic, and I like Ox's design. Very like... male-Gorgon-ish, maybe.

Oh no! I was trying to avoid having him look like a male gorgon- there's already a character like that in the series [link]
it's hard to make men in that style when there's so few male characters.

Well, he doesn't look like that character, if it makes you feel any better. ): I don't actually know anything about the series (even though it sounds really cool). It's actually a kind of weird coincidence I thought that, since male Gorgon is really not a very common kind of monster... It just seems funny to me that they actually have one of those on the show.
ANYWAY he looks way cooler than that character, in my opinion.
And yes more comics definitely!

well in THIS comic yes, but I don't think thats enough to flush him out as a character- he's rude to pretty much everybody.

I like that out of all his possible reasons for not going out with him, it's because he grabbed her arse. xD The dialogue in the last panels were funny. I particularly liked "Is it because of my lisp?", "your lips, what?" "My lisp! L-I-S-P! My speech impediment!" For some reason, that made me smile. I also love the little emoticons for when she was texting her friend. Overall, this is a well done comic and develops both of the characters a little more. Excellent composition!
