Hmm, some monitors show it as a darker green, I actually did make it as a light green.

There is green and yellow tintcoming in the white petals which doesn't seem accurate. I just think a cleaner white petal would do something for even more contrast and eye popping. It is a nice photo, i don't critique for the sake of critique i just htink it could be enhanced even more. If you don't have a screen color calibrator you should pick one up. I use a Spyder 2 Pro.

Unfortunately, I really don't have the money for a calibrator. Still need to buy a second camera body for weddings, not to mention a 70-200 2.8..

wow..i guess its me...i couldn't get to an object that close with the 18mm-55mm lens...with the green background, is that natural or is it edited?

I can't afford a macro lens, trust me if this was shot with a macro, I would've taken advantage of that and gotten even closer. I adjusted the levels a bit , that's all.
