Description
I have decided that in the next story i am going to play as Flintwhisker rather than Sunnystripe. Flint has more insecurities and Sunny would make more of a great secondary character than an okay main character. Besides, i have had the idea for this character a lot longer anyway.

I figured it would be interesting to play as a half deaf cat way back in StarClan Battles, but i didn't have the guts to do it in Black Sun so i logged the idea away in my head and here he is. The white apprentice is now a white warrior.

I don't think that being half deaf will really affect him that much, but it could be a handicap that makes him interesting. He would have a hard time picking out where sounds are coming from and difficulty focusing on one noise at once. I also decided that he is mostly Turkish Angora, so medium haired; he has a somewhat foreign body type and a longer muzzle, tufted ears and wispy fur.

His eyes are different colors, which i have done before, but not like this, the ear on his right side is mostly if not all deaf; it is a genetic trait that non-pointed white cats can develop.

So, his story is that his mother was a medicine cat: Icepath (no one knows that) but his father is a respected warrior: Stormcloud. Flint is two moons younger than Sunny and his brothers so he feels the need to prove himself to them. Flameleaf, Sunny's mother, takes Flint under her care.
One day when Blazekit makes fun of Flintkit for being small and odd, the white kit leaves the nursery to hunt a hawk (a piece of prey that is sought after by all of the kits); he doesn't find one, but he does find a badger...
Flameleaf rushes to his rescue frantically and manages to drive off the beast, but not without injury to herself. She curls around the small kit to keep him warm while she fights death long enough to wait for rescue. Damselthorn, her mate, is finally able to find her and they have a sweet few last words before Flameleaf departs for StarClan...
Damselthorn deposits the kit back at the nursery where he is scolded and sneered at by Flameleaf's kits, who are unaware of their mothers death as of yet. Later on, Blazekit/paw/claw still holds Flint accountable for his mother's death, Emberkit/paw/heart dismisses it as the will of StarClan and Sunnykit/paw/stripe learns to get over the past and becomes Flintwhisker's best friend.
Damselthorn has a hard time looking at Flintwhisker because he somewhat blames him for his mate's death, but he does still view the young cat as one of his sons. Flint remains closer to his real father, Stormcloud.

So his journey will be from timid and insecure to a great and confident warrior of skills that surpass even the cats with perfect hearing. He always feels the need to try harder and do better than everyone else, but in his younger days always comes up short.
He secretly loves Ridgefrost but thinks it would be best for everyone if she was Sunnystripe's mate, so he never makes a move. ^^'
