Description
The Soval-Class was first developed at the 40 Eradani-A Fleetyards in 2356 as a scientific research and diplomatic vessel. During her years of service in Starfleet, the prototype U.S.S. Soval (NCC-70650) surveyed nearly thirty inhabited systems, made first contact win seven warp capable alien life including-the J'naii and the Hermat-as well as ferried nearly hundreds diplomats across Federation Space to various conferences and accords, even served as a cadet training ship in 2369 for Stafleet Cadets. In 2385, the U.S.S. Soval was forced to be abandoned for six months when it was infested by Reglan Blood Worms and nearly 86% of the crew was killed. Eventually, the ship was sterilized with a bayon sweep at the Remmler Aray at Arkaria and a total new crew replacement was assigned at Starbase 124.

In 2369, the USS T'Plana'hath (NCC-70656) ferried Vulcan Ambassador Dawn and her family to a conference on Lapis III
