Description In Greek mythology, Prometheus was a titan who tricked Zeus by bringing fire, which was jealously guarded by the gods, to the humans.
Although this catapulted humans out of their bleak drear, Zeus punished Prometheus by having him chained to a rock. Each day, an eagle would tear out his liver, and every night he would heal to repeat the painful process again.
