I drew this in 1998, a few weeks after watching Kitano's "Kids Return" in a theater. I love this movie, I'm a fan of Takeshi Kitano's movies to say the truth, and I'm also extremely fond of this actor, Masanobu Ando.So when I saw this picture on the full page of a magazine, I felt I had to draw it immediately !
The picture was so beautiful, I loved the attitude, everything.

oh yes. I've seen that movie once. It was pretty good which made atracted to wacth more of Kitano's movies. Have you ever seen "violent cop" or "Brother" of Kitano?

Yes I'm really a fan of Kitano's movies. The only one I haven't seen is "A scene at the sea"..

Génial... L'ombrage est très bon, c'est réaliste et puissant. Et puis ça a du être un très bon entraînement pour l'anatomie. Tu as fait une école d'art? BTW, moi aussi j'aime beaucoup kitano, et vu mes gouts, je suppose que ce ne sera pas un grand choc si je dis que mon préféré c'est Zatoichi!

Zatôichi est vraiment génial, je l'ai vu 2 fois au ciné (le gros prétexte c'était que ma soeur ne l'avait pas vu, lol). Tadanobu Asano !!!!!!! Haha, vraiment un film génial.
J'ai du mal à dire quel Kitano je préfère. Le premier que j'ai vu c'était Sonatine en 1995 et j'ai un faible pour ce film magnifique.. mais il y a aussi Kids Return, Zatôichi, Kikujiro.. blablabla... !
Sinon j'adore Masanobu Ando (une vraie groupie, lol), l'acteur sur ce dessin.. en voyant cette photo j'ai ressenti un besoin impérieux de la dessiner, haha.

Si Zatoichi t'a plu, je te conseille "Ran" de Kurozawa Akira. C'est plus contemplatif, moins "la morale est simple, les méchants perdent toujours", mais vraiment interessant.

J'ai dû redémarrer mon PC tellement deviantart ramait !! et mon chat est venu sur mon bureau réclamer des câlins, dur de lui résister, lol !
Je disais donc avant que mon message ne soit perdu que j'avais vu Ran il y a environ 10 ans, mais que je ne m'en rappelais pas très bien vu que j'avais à l'époque juste une petite télé 36 cm, pas idéal pour un film à grand spectacle ! bref, j'ai acheté le DVD l'année dernière et je compte bien le revoir dans de meilleures conditions, c'était vraiment beau dans mon souvenir (flou).. !
Tadanobu Asano n'a jamais été aussi beau que dans Zatôichi je trouve !

Je pense que j'ai acheté l'édition juste avant celle-ci.. Deux mois plus tard ou presque, la version de luxe sortait, j'étais verte !!

Yes Kids Return is really a good movie. It's about 2 teenagers taking different paths in life. One is skilled in boxing and tries to become a champion, and the other one chooses to become a yakuza. There is something really fresh in that movie, although it's not so optimistic (but there are some really funny moments).. Well this movie is about youth.
Fight Club is realy good also, but totally different.. hope you enjoy it ! It's very brutal.
