Description  "A figure that casts a shadow in the dessert, a giant, scarred by many battles, with no face, no mouth or ears. It's hard to tell what it thinks, if it thinks. The creature, wielding a sword as big as a pillar of a Greek temple, moving its spiky, lanky body with a sense of sorrow, it feels like a larger than life being. As a traveler, I accepted my death the second it got near me, but now it stays right in front of me, staring at me despite being blind. Or perhaps, I am the one being blind at that moment. "

"In the tales floating around the Miah Dessert, many speak of the existence of a Fountain of Life. Being often equated with the Fountain of youth ancient explorers set out to find long ago, the Fountain of Life is one of the most powerful source of energy in the world. With water so divine and mystical, able to give birth to all life in the area, maybe even on the continent. It is said that the pool of this fountain was created when one of the elder gods, theorized to be the Sol God themself, bled onto the ground, the blue regal blood digging through the sizzling sand, the liquid re
aching the core of the planet and thus becoming an essential part of the Miah Dessert.

Of course, legends can be judged as distortions of the truth, but the existence of the Fountain is no legend: too many have died for it to be a legend. An approximate location of the Fountain has remained inscribed in many maps, tapestries and books of the local tribes. Because of this, explorers have traveled the dessert for centuries, with minds focused on the endless possibilities that come with the blood of a God and a Life Fountain. It is true, the Fountain holds power, the power to heal, to revive, to give birth to spirits. And some of those spirits are the Cavactanus, cactus giants with the Fountain's water flowing inside them. These creatures are not violent by nature, but despite that, they hold the power of multiple armies. It is simply terrifying to see such giants get up from the sand dunes they were resting on, unearth their weapons and point them at those courageous or dumb enough to pursue the Fountain. Cavactanus are beasts, slaughter behemoths, creations of the same blood as the monstrous entities called gods, and yet... and yet there are people that lived to tell the story of the Cavactanus. These people are no knights or generals or simple foot-soldiers or archers, no, anyone with the intent to fight the Cavactanus was not spared. These story-tellers are passive observers, travelers that perhaps didn't seem dangerous to the god-like beasts. Calling them beasts is a perspective in and of itself, as a traveler like me had the chance to see... a gentle existence within them."
