Yes, I'm a big huge fan of the four founders in Harry Potter even though there is next to zilch about them. Maybe that's what makes it FUN!
Anyway, their appearances are based on how I characterize them in my fanfics, so there may be differences with other fanon!ideas. E.g. In my stories, Salazar has Egyptian blood (many, many generations ago however), accounting for his slightly darken skin. With the exception of Salazar, I haven’t quite set on the hair/eye color of the other founders. Anyway, I doodled this in class while thinking of some adventure these four are having. I decided to put it up because I realized I had a distinct lack of founders fanart. So here they are!Godric needs to retrieve a magical heirloom, long lost during an epic battle with a powerful and evil lich; whether the monster still lives the four do not know...
Godric froze, signaling the others to stop. Amber eyes squinted in the dim green light, desperately scanning the shadowy rocks. “I thought I heard something…”
“Rats probably,” Salazar replied in a bored voice.
“This place is not called Echoing Cave for nothing Godric,” Rowena’s gentle voice intervened.
Slowly, he shook his head. “No… it was no echo. Something… Something is alive down here,”

Great job.Godric looks as if he is ready to kill himself for his teammates at any minute,Helga has that worried,little dumb what the fuck look that shows she cares for them,Salazar is bored but seems to have sad thoughts what would happen if some of them died,and my favorite, Rowena has morallly ambigious, calculating, interested, crazy as in crazy enough to give Luna run for money look.

There ARE cannon hair and eye colors you know... Sal - grey eyes. Godric - red hair and green eyes. Helga - Ginger hair and blue eyes. Rowena - black hair and dark eyes.

If you're referring to the colors revealed on JK Rowling's website for Wizard of the Month, those were released in 2007. A full year after I drew this.

Perfect adventuring party:
Godric:Wizard/Fighter,put that bravery to work go right in the monsters face and stab it.
Helga:Wizard/Healer bit of a stretch but she was nice so why not?
Rowena:Wizard/Wizard because enough spells and intelect can solve everything
Salazar:Wizard/Rogue(Thief) you didn't expect him to backstab you with that flimsy wand,you didn't even think it could be used as a knife,that's because you weren't ambitious/sneaky enough.

I absolutely love the way you portray the founders here - they have such distinct characters. I may have to read your fanfiction! Have you got a link to it by any chance? There is a definite lack of good Founders fanfiction out there and I need inspiration for my own.

It would be funny if Helga was a muggleborn german tomboy who loved to get on Salazar's nerves, thus later leading to him telling his student's that she was a marshmellow pansy (I mean, come on, everybody seems to think they're pathetic with very little redeaming quilties).
I would laugh if she was the most spunky of the four that made even Godric and Ravenclaw annoyed with her, but find her loyalty and hard work redeemable.
