This is one of my favorite scenes from Half-Blood Prince! I really love the way that you portray Tonks and Snape.

This looks really great! I love this scene! Personally, the way I interpreted this scene: At this point in the story, Lupin had rejected Tonks on the basis of him being a werewolf and too old for her and such. Tonks basically went from being this fun, spunky, lively person to dull, mopey, and a tad grumpy. Everyone who came into contact with her knew something was up with her, and those that were closest to her (especially those that were in the Order) knew it had to do with Lupin. Snape says in OotP that he thinks people who wear their hearts on theirΒ sleeves are weak. I think Snape is commenting on the fact tat Tonks is wallowing so openly in her grief, but he definitely has no shortage of sass.

I wonder if his remark was a jab at her or a jab at Lupin. He had no kind feelings for lupin obviously, but he could have seen his own patronus change as a sign of weakness, that for it to change was emotionally weak of anyone, and that he was referring to her lack of strength.
