Hey Ali, this is a really great picture! I like the irregular shape of the nebula, and I love those little mini-suns you have swirling around. The colors are nice, and I really like the touches of red you added. Maybe Iā€™m just crazy, but I love love love the little black pockmarks! Those little clumps of dust or gas or stellar matter almost make it look like this young sun has acne! Who knew stars had to go through puberty?

Thanks, Gitte!!!! I used Apophysis to make the nebula and then used Photoshop, and filters to do the rest..

I make almost all of my nebulas from Fractals using Apophysis, it gives them such great depth and wonderful color.. if you ever want to learn how to make them just let me know

[link] here is my tutorial on it.. I find the best fractals are if you put your variations to just LINEAR and play with the mutation button a bit, and you can smoothe it out somewhat by playing with triangles 1,2 and 3... Hope this helps,, if you need more info just let me know!
