Great job on this. It has a storybook feel to it and the way the leaves are moving in the breeze really impresses me.

I wanna go there. Sit on that bridge, and eat some hamburgers, baked BBQ beans, macaroni salad and watermellon. Then have some nice strong coffee with Hazelnut creamer and sugar and take a deep nap. Mmmm, I imagine a strong green scent there, damp from the water, like in a thick forest after the summer rain. Damn I'm gettin flowery . . . time to punch something . . . aaa that's better.

This is wonderful! You've done an amazing job creating the mystical atmosphere of this world. I love everything about it, although it took me a little while to fully appreciate it given that it is quite unusual (in a good way!). The glowing mist on the water is a particularly gorgeous touch.

Neat pix, Ali! The preview size reminds me of the old silhouette style pix where a silhouette is painted on the back side of the glass in a picture frame and another scene behind it, either on paper, canvas, or a mirror. I have an old art book called "The Master -Book One" which had all kinds of art and craft things in it for children and older. It was an interesting book...and leather bound. I think it dated back to the 1930's or 40's...I had fun making things that were shown in it when I was a kid.

thats really cool, the reflection in the water seems to be maybe a little to bright. it reminds me of a fantasy world that doesnt have night, but at night time....if that makes sense? lol >.<

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to raolain [2005-05-24 17:29:10 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!!!! And yes, I made it bright on purpose to create that fantasy feel.....Alien sun, alien planet, but still a feel for the ancient fantasy style scene...
