Gus is a female Western Screech Owl who is an educational ambassador for the Orange County Bird of Prey Center, her nest was destroyed by tree trimmers when she was baby making her dependent on humans for the rest of her life due to injuries and a lack of foster nests that season. She now spends her days being a spunky ambassador, teaching the public about how to protect our wildlife!
