He's such a gorgeous bird; and a very talkative one too!

Really?  How interesting.  I have never been around that many birds.  My grandparents had a couple of pigeons when I was a little girl.  Never thought much about it, but they lived on a farm and the pigeons came in and out of the house and had a little roust.  Their names were Cookie and Biscuit.  One was rusty reddish brown and the other was a bluish grey like most pigeons I have seen, are.  Then my uncle Jay had a bird and I honestly don't remember what breed but he did talk.  Not a parrot, I just don't recall.  I was pretty small.  But the bird would say, "Jay's a dirty bird."  We used to get the biggest kick out of that.

Raptors don't "talk" like a parrot or corvid (Ex. raven) would. Imprints (meaning raised by humans to put it simply), like Kasai, will sometimes become "talkative" and occasionally even become known as "screamers." Basically they just make a lot of noise, typically begging calls because they see humans as their parents and are expecting food. Other times they just like making noise because they want to or are expecting you to communicate with the same sounds because they think of you as the same species.

I knew what corvids are.  I love ravens too, crows, magpies. I don't even remember what color this bird was.  I was pretty young.  Hmm, wish I could remember.

I usually just give an example because not everyone does know. I'm glad you do though.

I realized that from the way you worded it.  Most people don't know what a corvid is.

This photo needs a caption, but I'm bad at coming up with them.

Mainly he's just saying, "I'm an imprint so I make noise!"
Imprints are fun xD
