Growing up in Saitama, Kamiko grew up as the awkward girl who was obsessed with monsters and mythology. Probably due to said circumstances, she was somewhat of a shut-in who simply honed her athleticism in her spare time. It all came to a head as Kamiko later began a successful gymnastic career, which got the attention of the DNG; an agency which specializes in solving local and global issues. She met Katsuro during the DNG’s training sessions, attaching to him relatively quickly. After several years of embarking on missions together, they moved in an apartment in Tokyo.

Kamiko has a peppy and overall positive demeanor. She’s enthusiastic in her mannerisms, often using idioms and wordplay. Thanks to her time spent with the ever-stoic Katsuro, she’s become keen of her peer’s emotions, her tendency to care for others is almost maternal. However, being an athlete with more energy than a dynamo, Kamiko possesses a high libido. Despite everything, her cooking skills have a lot to be desired, meaning Katsuro has to cook meals for her. Katsuro and her have an inseparable, platonic bond. But much like actual siblings, Kamiko’s chaotic positivity can grind on Katsuro’s stone-cold, no-nonsense nature.

To maintain her agile, lithe figure, Kamiko performs yoga and cardio with a hint of strength training. Her kunoichi outfit suit is equipped with a pair of ferocious arm blades that can slice-and-dice anything. Her main strategy is rush-down. Kamiko is a gynmast with a dorky side, indulging in all sorts of media. Her favorite genre being action and shonen. In fact, her room is littered with figurines and assorted knick-knacks.

One thing to note is that Kamiko shares a romantic love with Ryuko Matoi, with Kamiko being the chipper, tall glass of love to Ryuko’s brash hot-bloodedness. Additionally, her, Ryuko, and Mako often hang out together as the “Three Caballeras”, often getting into shenanigans!
