The first letter to his mom, just after receiving Pikachu."Dear Mom,
Professor Oak was gonna give me an Eevee!
But Gary took the Eevee before I could...
But, it's okay.
Professor Oak gave me a Pikachu instead.
I named him Zippy.
I hope Zippy likes me.
Love, Alex."

Experiment! Since I too am starting something new, I try out a lot of things and, if I like it, I stick with it. If ur not sure, give it a go anyway. U never know, u might like it.

Haha, too true! In fact, the style I'm drawing Dear Mom in is fairly new to me; I started watching Steven Universe recently and thought that a cartooney style that's just a little bit anime and just a little bit Western animation would be fun to draw. It's really easy and really fun to draw!

I remember going to the store to get my first Pokemon game and wanting "The one where Pikachu follows you. The yellow one." and they showed me Gold, and saying "Pikachu doesn't follow you in this."
I remember the clerk looking and being like "I don't think we have that one." So I took Silver instead.
I didn't actually get Yellow until just a few years ago. It's one of my favourites though!

Yellow was the Pokemon game that I wanted for pretty much my entire life but didn't get until I was 18 or so!
I actually own every main series game except for Emerald and Omega Ruby XI Including the original Green version!
