Description Hurrah, my best drawing of Misery so far!

So, she's either attempting to sing while awake, or wailing her sad song in an effort to tell someone of their impending doom (as Banshees do). You make the call.

Boring background, but I was hungry at the time and didn't want to do much for detail. Besides, the rest of the drawing came out awesome, so no reason to be nit-picky.

Time: 3.5~4 hrs

Well Banshees are Irish, though I did notice her accent, I say shes more Canadian though I am not too familiar with accents.

Aye, but Sirens are Greek, and I know for a fact that her accent is not a Greek one. Also, the Irish were among the first settlers in Canada (along with the Brits and some French). Regardless of accent though, Misery's character has far more in common with banshees than sirens.

Yep, there's a pretty big Celtic scene in Eastern Canada. Newfoundland is home to a lot of Irish musicians and bands.

They actually tried to do that once before, but it didn't work. Believe it or not, I stumbled across a documentary about it (and other Canadian factoids) but a few days ago...shoot, what was it called again?

Well, I think it happened once, maybe twice, that Misery didn't get thunderstruck (great, now I have the song in mind. Good song though), excluding the episode where it's Friday the 13th and that she's full of luck. She doesn't even want it (hey Misery, you can give me some. I wouldn't mind ).

And yeah, Thunderstruck is an okay song (it gets even better when you hear it played on a set of bagpipes though ).

You've got to have Goliath's own lungs to play instruments like the pipes. So either he's gone back and edited out every instance of him breathing during the recording, or he's taken things a step further and mastered the art of "circular breathing". [link]
