Description Misery: "Hm, not half-bad. It actually looks pretty comfortable, to tell the truth. So...what am I looking at for price, then?"

I had this idea the other day where Misery was looking at the cost and options for someone preparing a grave for her. It seemed like something she might do in the show, so I figured I'd try to draw it. I think it came out pretty nicely!
The gravedigger is no one in particular, just a person I randomly put together.

And for those wondering, Misery's headstone says "Misery III IX VIII ?" because they lost count at some point.

Time: A very long time, I forgot to keep track

nice picture ^^

I really love Misery's expression. It's like " I'm immortal " or " You're too early".

But maybe either all of the RG chars are already dead, or immortal. Whatever fits best.

Thanks.

I think they're all mortal, though Skullboy and Boo Boo are technically dead. I dunno, I just don't think about it.

well, I've thought Misery was immortal because all of her relatives appeared in one episode, even though they're supposed to be dead.

I dunno myself.

Makes sense I guess, but I just like to leave it as something only explainable by a long, drawn out description that few people can really understand. It's probably quantum.

The gravedigger looks like Frank a lot well almost because the gravedigger's nose is big and Frank's nose is tiny. Wonderful job Cris

More like just being prepared, but yeah. She'll have no problems at all with the final stage of dying: acceptance.

I think she's being smart because with her, you never know when she'll NEED that tomb.

Really nice!

Hehe, true!

I'm still unsure (I'm 18 ) about what I want for that : Incineration or burial?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Catula In reply to Eclipse8 [2009-02-18 16:57:08 +0000 UTC]

I figure I'll donate whatever organs I can, then be buried (I think it's cheaper to be buried than burned). I'm just curious to find out what happens to you when you're dead. If there's an afterlife, or reincarnation, or whatever.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Eclipse8 In reply to Catula [2009-02-19 00:19:43 +0000 UTC]

I signed a certificate that assures that I'll donate any usable organs when I die.

yeah, I thought about burial too (cheaper).

My thoughts are the same aboout the afterlife. I'm not really into religion, but I do believe in something after death.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Catula In reply to Eclipse8 [2009-02-19 17:08:40 +0000 UTC]

Cool, I should go and find myself one of those certificates.

I've always been brought up in a Christian environment, so naturally I still hold on to those beliefs, but I still don't KNOW for sure what happens when I die. So while I'm in no hurry to leave this world, I AM curious to know what happens when I do.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Eclipse8 In reply to Catula [2009-02-20 00:40:35 +0000 UTC]

Well actually, I wrongly explained myself. It's a card that everyone in the province has to have. It's a "social hospital insurance card", and you need it if you want services in a hospital. At some point in your life (when you're around 16 years-old), they add a little sticker at the back and if you sign it, you garantee that you'll donate your organs when you die.

Same here!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Catula In reply to Eclipse8 [2009-02-20 05:28:21 +0000 UTC]

Ah right, that makes sense then. Either we don't have to have those cards down here, or I've got one somewhere and don't have the faintest idea that I DO have it.

Kinda sad in a sense, since this kinda presents an important example of one of the troubles between the fan shipping between Colin and Misery.

Demons are immortal.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Catula In reply to MysticM [2009-02-18 06:18:08 +0000 UTC]

So it becomes a match like Aragorn and Arwen, then. Eventually the mortal will die, leaving the immortal with unending grief.

But, that's the importance of the last stage of death: acceptance. Misery knows she's going to die, so she's getting an early start by shopping for graves.

MysticM In reply to Catula [2009-02-18 19:22:09 +0000 UTC]

True, but if my OC Colin was a gloomate in Ruby's show, this would be the reason against Colinβ™₯Misery. Colin can appear to age as well as any age but death of any sort is just temporary and he knows Misery, Ruby and friends are just another chapter in his neverending story.

(He's just a demon, not a god so he does have weaknesses)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Catula In reply to MysticM [2009-02-19 16:59:18 +0000 UTC]

Indeed. I suppose it would work if you never shipped them beyond the ages in the show, but I guess that's not much fun for the shippers...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MysticM In reply to Catula [2009-02-19 20:52:37 +0000 UTC]

Id be honoured if Colinβ™₯Misery shipping catches on because if I was my OC... figurativly... or litually... I dunno, in the end Id allow Misery to have her choice in the matter since this shipping involves her.
