Thorin, Thranduil and Bard have very productive inter-kingdom meetings I sure.
In my mind at these meetings they have a ban on weapons that everyone follows and one on being drunk that nobody does. Good times, good times.

I feel like after this meeting Thorin and Thrandruil would try to make him a crown, but they would make it a competition and try to out do each other. Kinda like a Project Runway of sorts.

Eventually Bard settles on making them combine elements from both of the ones they made for him, just to watch them squirm in new ways.

And to go the extra mile he makes two; a really serious one that he actually likes and will probably use and one that is so ugly that no one in their right mind would wear it. And it's the second one he shows to Thranduil and Thorin, just to see their reactions to it. >:3

Haha, this is awesome. I feel like dragon bone would be more effective as a crown... and it would be the biggest compensation of them all. Walking around with dragon bones on your head.

That's fair, decaying intestine hat. I like that. Hahaha, Oh my gosh. I had this weird visual after seeing your "Let's be Professionals". Of Bard coming to the meeting all proud with his Bone Crown, finally joining the dick measuring contest, and this annoys Thranduil and Thorin. Then at the next meeting Bard comes looking all annoyed as "Someone" had braided his awesome bone crown with dragon intestine. With Thranduil and Thorin trying not to laugh.
