This is awesome. You really did a beautiful job at using the man's curiosity to lead the story up to that final panel.
I love the surreal feel of the orangish sky, as well as the details to the field and barn. Little things like the bird poop all over, really adds that feeling of believability that so many birds were working at feeding the monstrous chick.
Great work all around.
