Thank you very much Regarding the back leg on this piece, no, it's not out of place or proportion. The model is the sire of one of two of my dogs and I have the reference photo - dogs in a play bow splay their back legs toeing out to balance their fronts on the ground (like a tripod). However, I'm not overly happy with the shading on this and I do think that it makes that leg look a little off. I had rush to make a deadline due to last minute decisions on the part of those who commissioned it so not as detailed as I would have liked

Your welcome, those deadlines can be a nuisance, it still looks more detailed than I could make it though, so my hat is off, nice work

Thank you very much Yes, water color can be tricky with small details. I use a dry brush technique and very small brushes like 0000, 5/0, 10/0, 20/0 round and liner brushes for the most part. As far as waiting for it to dry - that can be a pain, but blow dryers can come in very handy for helping that along
