For my "Ask Phantom Link Blog" on Tumblr.So yeah, this is the first of five promised sketches of ships I'd said I'd do.
This one happened to be requested by my good friend I dunno...I found the idea of Phantom Link and Puppet Zelda to be quite intriguing, so I tried it first. 8D And I must say...hawtness...:/ Can I has pairing plz? <333 Still liking PL X DL though, but this one is a CLOSE second
Now, I'm not quite sure if Link's curse here in this form would drain Zelda of her life force but...details...*dismissive hand* I'll figure out a loophole.
Also, that's supposed to coagulated blood on her sword there, but I failed at it...OTL Phantom Link isn't really supposed to bleed anyway, but I wanted it (and it looked weird without)...so...she was using magic through her sword before she stabbed him? XD; Honesty, that's really the only way this would happen otherwise.
Kinda wanted to draw this from a different angle, but it just...wouldn't... work. :/ So here's what I have as a final result.

Everytime I see Puppet Zelda paired up with Link or this time phantom Link, I keep thinking puppet Zelda is just Ganon posessing as Zelda's body. So yeah love this pairing xD

Dancing-esque kinds of angles are so so difficult, you protrayed it lovely here. When I see their expressions I immediately get an idea of their current thoughts, specifically though. Everyone can do sad/happy faces but sometimes there's nothing behind them truly, unlike this.
The heads are nicely proportionate to the bodies as well.
