- 1) Can teleport himself between realms(takes a lot of energy and concentration) and can teleport from place to place(if he's already been there or seen the place), his short distance teleporting is also pretty much on par.

- He doesn't get scars that easily and heals fast, though he needs energy for this to work or he'll take longer and would weaken in other places.
- Faster, stronger and more resilient than your average human.
- Has a shadowy form he can hold for up to 5 minutes, it's tied in with him being a shadow demon. This shadowy form is that shadow you see at the corner of your vision in haunted houses or when you're alone at home, when you turn to see what just moved past you it's already gone.

He likes breaking rules and not listening to authority, sometimes it's just fun to be mischievous, besides it's in his demon nature. He's not the brightest bulb out there, he's bad in school work that doesn't involve fighting and weapons, he's also very bad at emotions and reading and dealing with other people. He is however street smart, put in in a human city and he'll blend in perfectly and take you to all the best places. Shadow is an angry demon, he carries a lot of baggage with him that he doesn't easily share, and all this weight sort of makes him prone to resorting to being mean and angry, it's actually quite funny to piss him off and i suspect he might actually enjoy being grumpy. This demon's very impulsive, he gets an idea in his head, he goes for it, though luckily when fighting(sometimes) he tends to be less impulsive, for a second or two... For all his cock, dumb angryness, he's actually quite immature, piss him off and he'll pout, wake him up too early and he'll hold a grudge, bribe him with food and he'll be your best friend for a second, and so on, you'll often find him curled up like a cat in a tree or other weird places sleeping. But for all his faults, Shadow is actually very loyal, he might not treat you like a friend, be nice to you or anything you'd expect a loyal friend to do, but he will be there to have your back if you need him.
Background:
Little is known about Shadow's mother and father's relationship or story, since at a young age Shadow's mother escaped to earth with baby Shadow. Shadow's mom was caught in the middle of a centuries old battle between two brother demons, so raising one of the two's son there was out of the question. She wanted to give her boy a better life.
She escaped through a portal and took her son to Earth, there they lived in a small flat in a suburb of New York, they acted human and kept to themselves. Shadow's mother got a job to care for them, and Shadow stayed home, his mother leaving him with an old lady who made sure he behaved, which he often times didn't do. Eventually he started slipping out and causing trouble during the day. At age 13 his powers finally started to show, it was harder and harder to hide the fact that he wasn't human, and like all teenagers he started getting into more trouble, acting out more and causing trouble for his mother.
One day he helped some human friends break into some rich guy's home, using his teleporting abilities to get in and open a window for his 'friends, they just thought he was really good at getting in. They've been breaking into this man's house a few times in the past, so he had installed security cameras to see how the thieves got in each time, seeing the strange teen just appearing inside he was dumbfounded, though he used his money to find someone who could help, and found the Hunters. Anyway this particular day when the teens went to break in again, a Hunter was waiting to capture the young demon.
Shadow tried to escape but in the process exposed his tail and demon features, he got away thankfully and went back to his flat, the Hunters were pretty good at their jobs and followed him there. The young demon was about to get himself slain when his mother came to the rescue, fighting off the Hunters, giving her son enough time to escape, though in the process Shadow's mother was slain.
Shadow spent the rest of his time running from the Hunters and surviving on Earth, until one day a shadowy minion appeared to him, inviting him to Atrum Academy, not knowing why exactly he was invited or where this place was, he declined. Not long after that a teacher of this academy, a witch by the name Luna Knight, showed up and basically shoved him through a space portal and dragged him to the Academy.
Once there he realized it was better than back on earth, here he even had the chance of befriending some other creatures like him, from a fallen angel, Venus, to his room mate, another demon named Aleki.
After a year at the academy, lots of mischief, some accidents and so on, he was adopted by the Headmaster, his room mate becoming his adopted brother and so on. Shortly after that a mysterious shadow figure started stalking his dreams and even trapped him in them for a while before Venus could rescue him. Weaknesses:
- Being a demon and a Shadow demon at that, holy things burn and harm him. Be it a cross, holy water, holy scriptures ext.
- He's sensitive to Earth's sun but not in the way a vampire would be, he can survive but it taps his energy slowly, that's why he usually wears a hoody.
- Objects like books are drawn to his head for some strange reason, you throw a book and it'll probably hit the poor demon.
- Don't pull his tail, it hurts him a lot. If he trusts you he'll probably allow you to pet it but that's never happened before, not even with Venus.
- He needs to eat a lot to keep up his energy, if he's running low on energy he'll most likely pass out. This usually happens after he teleports a group of more than 2 people over a great distance.
- His personality might be his biggest weakness, he's prone to pushing people away or yelling and just being mean, though that's all he knows really. He also angers fast, you just need to find the right tid bit of info on him and use it against him in battle and he'll snap and his fighting would get sloppy.
- Mild case of Narcolepsy, though it's more connected with his energy usage and if he's got too little energy left, he gets tired and his body tries to get more energy, either through eating or sleeping, sleeping usually happens when there's no chance of eating.

- Aleki : Roommate and probably the closest thing he'll ever have to a best friend or brother, he doesn't' always seem to like him but there's an underlying sense of brotherly love and he wouldn't want to see anything happening to the derp. They're also sort of step brothers now or something.
- Akkarin : Adoptive Father and headmonster of Atrum Academy, he's very much scared of this man and won't try anything stupid with him.
- Arthur : :I Shadow hates the guy, well he hates most vampires but this guy has a special place in his heart and that's called loathing. Okay maybe not that bad but it's enough to make Shadow want to punch his face in.
- Adeline : Shadow really doesn't like her, he'd chose to avoid her at all costs. She bit him once so he's also slightly scared of her. He calls her species a sparklepire, but that's mainly because of her.
- Cierra : Shadow takes great care in avoiding her, her very presence troubles the demon and makes his skin crawl. She's also got a somewhat hold on him in the sense that she knows far too much and has taken his soul once, that and she's pure evil.
- Venus : The only one Shadow might open up to given the right circumstances, she's probably the closet to him and the only one he'll trust completely. He might have a feeling towards her called love but even if he did, he'd never admit to it. He's scared of her getting hurt and would protect her with his life.
- Velvet : If there's one person Shadow loathes, it's Velvet the jerkface vampire. He would much rather cut him down to size with his scythe than spend any amount of time in his presence.
- Andrew(Andie) : Okay i don't even think Shadow knows what to think of Andie, he doesn't like him but he doesn't want to kill him right away. Andie usually bugs the living hell out of Shadow to the point where Shadow's just about ready to rearrange his face, but other than that, he'll probably just try to avoid the other demon.
