Well they aren't the Mario Bros. They are much more handsome!Voila! Svenan and Icky basically Viking-adult [mid to late teens]
Because they are hypothetical Children depicted as hypothetical adults from the HiccupxAstrid train. I really love that word - 'hypothetical'
Yeah like I said, I'm really into drawing Hypothetical offspring of characters right now, it's fascinating and it really challenges
1) the way to make a new character but still have features of the 'parents'.
I.e. This: [link] + This: [link] = 'see above'/'links below'
Though Icky is really Hiccup's doppelganger - still! you notice he's not quuuiiiteeee Hiccup, there is subtle Astrid somewhere in there
and 2) It challenges to keep consistent features as a character ages.
I.e.

How did I do?
P.S - Strawberry Blonde hair is a biznatch to color.

Thanks! Yeah, there's a hint of Svenan the older because of Astrid's supposed gene pool, though Svenan the younger won't be such a ladies man and would never ever think of betraying his people, after all he is eldest, and therefore the one next in line for Chieftain.

It was worth it. I actually am one step shy of having that hair color, so it's cool to see it in artwork, and with green eyes, too- that's quite rare- most strawberry blonds are blue eyed

I did not know that, though come to think of it, I have only seen blue-eyed straw-blonds too.

In general, I think green eyes are rare, and they usually show up with people who have red, brown or black hair. So, it's extremely rare with blond hair. But very cool looking.

Gotta love them! I can definitely see Astrid in Icky, especially in the shape of his eyes and the kinda serious look on his face. Svenan has Hiccup's grin though
