While thinking of a scene for the death of Bambi's mom as a human, your comment inspired me to derive it from how Bruce's parents died. As Bambi and his mom are coming out of a movie theater or other public place, a guy comes up with a gun and tries to mug them. While trying to escape, Bambi's mother willingly puts herself between her son and the gun...and you know the rest.

Oh wow!!this is absolutely lovely!!I loved Bambi as a child and I still do love the movie. When I was little I did not really know how deep the meaning of the story was but I saw it just last week again, and I was shocked!it must have been so hard on poor Bambi to loose his mother the way he did.
But anyways this humanizacion of Bambi is really cute, though I am not an expert with human versions of animal characters I really this one because it sticks with Bambi's image and personality. Personally I think it is because of the eyebrows!I don't know, they just scream Bambi to me.
