Description
This weirdly is pen and 2 different inks, plus a whole lot of eraser...no graphite. My RPG character Epiales and hiz demigod girlfriend Dinea in a semi-realistic style. Have to draw more of 'em. Since people want to see more of 'him', here's a chibi anime pic of Epi - [link] Dinea's will be up soon.

I'm amazed what people can do with some lead and ink. <.< It's all so detailed and semi-realistic. Plus your sense of proportions and stuff is godly. I like this piece very much, and you should definitely draw some more of them.

oh, romantic couple! the look very good together, obviously! the details on the hair and clothes/costumes are really good. Epiales seems really strong and smart too, plus I love everything mythical so the fact he is greco-egyptian rocks!

Cool, he's Greco-egyptian, and has exotic tats everywhere. He's based on the ancient god of nightmares, which is androgynous; thats probably the reason for his pretty face.

His hair is different than most, its kinda hard to explain. There are these platinuim counterweights at the ends.

Dinea looks like she has some weird proportionng, torso too short or something or maybe she just has incredibly long legs

Um, I think its her suit, the proportions are accurate to my knowledge. The 'ideal' human body is 8 heads high, the midpoint being the crotch, and she has those exact proportions.... Anywhoo I also have ridiculously long legs so I'm biased in that regard for my characters.

The 8-head rule is actually the divine proportion used by the ancient greeks and romans, it is surprisingly elegant and accurate. It works surprisingly well, and usually cures any proportional problems one might have. They teach it to you in art school or any basic anatomy book. Measurements: 1 being the head itself, 2 at the nipples, 3 at the navel, 4 at (or below) the crotch, 5 at mid thigh, six at the knee, 7 at mid calf and 8 at the ankles. Many ideal models have these proportions and most traditionally realistic artists use it as a guideline.
