Β Are, really, the Ireland sky and sea so blue and luminous?

Thank you. Unfortunately, it is very cold and not always blue, lol.

Thanks Barrie, the truth is I'm selling them faster than I can paint them so that's why there is so many. No, I'm not complaining, lol.

Well, to tell the truth Barrie I'm not getting a lot of money for my work as I'm selling on eBay. However, it is paying my credit card bill every month and I don't have to worry now when I buy art materials as I feel I am justified in splashing out. You know how expensive going into an art shop can be. Also, I am surprised how many customers come back for more of my work. I've noticed too that the bidding is rising. I opened up store there July 1st this year. If business continues like it is I will be happy - not rich, but able to continue painting; which, after all, that is what I most want to do.

Well, one has to be very lucky to become in enough vogue to make enough to support oneself or 'do well' selling ones art - so making enough to keep one in supplies is doing pretty well. Some others I know teach art classes here and there to help out. BTW - What's your ebay user name Terry, curious to look up your auctions. Best regards, Barrie

Hi Barrie,

Yeah, I have to agree with you I am lucky in this respect. I put my art on eBay because I wanted to pay off my credit card. It was a very expensive year last year in more ways than one. I thought I'd give it a year and see how things went or didn't as the case might be. The last sale was a small pastel whic went for Β£55.63. I don't know if you can get to my shope by typing in "chalk42002" but I know if you type in "Terence Kelly" it will take you to some of my work on eBay. Good hunting!

Terry, You bidders are getting tremendous bargains! I think that art is something you have to see for real to get a sense of the beauty, craftmanship, and worth. Exception, of course if your name is already a household word. Best to you, Barrie

Sometimes I have a surprise when the bidding ends high. But this way I get to paint every day again. Thanks for your good wishes and the same to you.
