It's DONE!!! At long last it's done! Finally. This took me 9 full hours from sketch to CG. It was a royal pain in the asterisque!Bealive it or not, that IS me on the right there. On the left its my good buddy Neckem. Of course that is not his real name, but he won't answer to anything else.
We are planing a webcomic orf sorts, featuring ourselves and whole other bunch of weird guys and gals. Hence the big title up there. That is only a temporary name though as we are temped to change it, but we have no ideas at the time. Maybe later. Anyway, the first strip is already onthe works, as well as more charater sheets and designs. A webpage is also being built. So hopefully we can have something to show soon. For the time being the first few strips will be posted here.

-Sketched on cardstock with 3h drawing pencil (1 hour 10 minutes)
-Inked with Sakura Micron Pens (20 minutes)
-CG done in Photshop 7 (7 hours 30 minutes)

I did this six years ago so I should know the internet better by now, but I'll still give it a shot. Mexican doesn't necessarily mean brown anymore buddy. Same way Asian doesn't have to mean yellow. Should you go to Mexico you would see that in modernized cities (Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Veracruz etc) about 50% of Mexicans are, for all looks and appearances, white including myself, don't mean we're not Mexicans.
The comic that I had planned what intended to be Mexican not it the looks and of the characters and stereotypes of Mexicans but rather the slang, jokes and places that would most probably be relevant and recognized to and by Mexican readers. Albeit it died months after I created it, 7 years later I'm still getting comments like this.

what's going to be the main plot in the comic? It's probably a good idea to form a main plot before making the comic, or else after a few issues you'll be stumped for ideas.

I have a plot for the comic. It follows the lives of the guys in a boarding high school in a co-ed dorm. There is no real intricate plot, it more like many small plot arcs that will be taken from both Neckem's and my own experiences in real life.

oh right, if it's based on real life then you shouldn't have much of a problem, it just sucks when somebody gets a great idea then can't build on it after one issue. But hey I look forward to seeing it and good luck

Ah yes the four finger thingie. Well, it not so much mexican as it is cartoony. Take a look around, most comedy based cartoons and comics that characters only have four fingers....I just wanted to fit in. Plus that means I have one less finger to draw, and they are a big pain so its all good.

Well maybe thats because gringos have such idiotic stereotypes of Mexicans. If not, then by all means enlighten me of what a "real" Mexican looks like so I can learn.
