This can only mean one thing...MY SCANNER LIVES! WOOHUZZAH!
After a week of tweaking settings, uninstalling, and everything else, I got it working. It still doesn't scan when it feels like it, but otherwise it works about 70% of the time. Better than forking out for a new one, I say.
Anyhoo, just coming back from my trip from Sweden to see Iza, this pic just popped into my head, simply because I was missing her *sighs*, and I thought a nice photo style pic would fit quite nicely.
Picked a simple anime style, mainly cos I haven't done it for so freaking long, so excuse me if it's a little crap. Doing so much Sonic Team style colouring sorta craps up your rules of shading and asthetics. Dammit.This pic was taken outside the city library in Stockholm, probably the nicest, most colourful pic I had from my collection. ^_^

Hooray for the scanner working again ^.^! *Waves fist* I hope that the percent error of it lowers more ;.; So much that it's barely noticeable then xD
But anyway.. This is really cute ^.^! You drew Iza so pretty here.. I like the hair! And the outfit looks really cool, too xD That's so sweet of an image to draw.. I'm happy to hear that the visit went well.. I'm sure you'll get to see her again ^.^! You're so lucky xD *Wishes she could go and visit Souppy*

Well, I didn't use a tablet for any of this, to be frank. The colouring is entirely mouse made.
I used Flash to touch up the lineart (using vector objects), and the photo was touched up slightly in Photoshop. That's pretty much it.
