This figure is Chaplain in terminator armour... Named Seraphi.. He's legendary tyranid veteran.. he and his Terminator close combat squad "Hunters" had killed thousands of tyranids... They says that Chaplain-Seraphi eats Broodlords for breakfast...Well this figure is my best painted ever... I love this fig... And I always use this one in my Space Marine army...Why this one is not in black? Black is boring.. especially on figures.. I like black colour.. but not on my figs.. and this chaplain has my chapter colour-theme on his armour.. so...yep...yep...

Thanks. Did you know that this fellow eat nid's for breakfast? (Well during the 4th edition codex when Chaplains were totall badasses. I do not like that they but their stats lower....sigh)

thanks. It looks so boring if chaplains are painted in black. Fluff and stories tells that they were black colour armour but that's not the rule.

I have been in martial art: Kyushu Jitsu and Tuite over year ago, just yellow belt. But I know basic things to kick ass... problem is I dunno who stoled that codex.. I guess it was an accident. Shit happens. Lucky thy did not stole my army!

Well my chaplain has right for it. During many games he had duels against broodlords and smashed 'em down

personally i'm not a fan of the broodlord, it doesn't have fleet so it's far too slow and not powerfull enough to be worth using, Hive tyrants are much better.

Hive Tyrants are quite nasty... but those creatures has no much against power fist or power claws. But I respect tyranids and tyranid players.

That is a damn good paint job! Definitely gonna fave this one. I don't really know much about painting miniatures (in fact I don't know anything about painting them), but like the others said, it does look older, but he also has the look of not putting up with anyones BS.
On another note i just ordered a terminator chaplain yesterday, any tips for a new painter?

but good tip for your chaplain.. ya wanna it to become black armoured or own chapter colours or what?
first good basecoating. (black or white) then start to paint with dark colours and drybrush with lighter colours.. black wash brings some nice details and shadins to figs... keep painting and trying. You learn better by doing!

I dont like the colour scheme so much,

Thank you. It is sooo booring to see everywhere black painted chaplains.. why always black. Well Codex says that Chaplain's wear black armour and skull to symbolize Emperor's wrath.
But that is not a rule! So I painted him into my chapter's colour!

Blcak undercoat. Scorched brown. drybrushing by snakebite leather, blckwash, skull white drybrush.. those were the main things... details... I do npot remember anymore xD I am very glad you like this one!
