i think the biggest fear is those silent seconds before the event, the moment where you realise that something bad is about to happen and there is nothing you can do about it.thankyou to ~toomanycontrols for basically breaking his back for me.

Ugh Ben...this one is too epic for me-in a good way of course. I love the feeling of being taken over.
The layers seem to represent time, which is where the apocalyptic feeling comes from
From the corner of the shot the angle itself makes the background seem raylike and catches attention, but on closer inspection textures are there...and minor imperfections that create the grand feeling formerly lacking of what would be plain.
And the confusing yet simplified background textures sharply contrast with the human form detailed yet light and shadow created form...Very nice and detailed work...

Great shot, the stairs almost look like a pyramid rising up in the right hand corner. Very intriguing, looks like many different things from different angles. Good work.

what a VERY trippy photo. i cant look at it for too long ...plus i know those seconds or millisecond oooooh too well...i remember them from when i was falling off my bike and nearly every time i go mountain boarding. adrenaline is a wonderful toy.

lmfao....i think it takes alot of time, effort and devotion to write good bullshit...i have a masters degree in bullshit lying about somewhere i need to get framed.
i think you are being far too hard on the reindeers...i would kill to see one. (well maybe not that far, but still you get my point) all i get to see here and dead rabbits on the side of the motorway and i can tell you...its not nice at all. i think if i saw one i would be tempted to try and get on its back though...and that would probably be the death of me...and then i couldn't whisper in your ear.

aw gee whiz...this is excellent, my friend. your choice of angle and positioning is awesome, and the viewer may easily become lost in the expanse of the stairs. the man in your image can definitely identify with that feeling. this is exquisite. i saw it on the "today's favorites" gallery right there on the front and couldn't help but dig in.
