Layer Paint backyard bird series! This time with the amazing Cedar Waxwing. I just about flipped when I saw this guy in my backyard this past spring. It actually inspired me to get my Florida birds book. I've not seen them since, but always on the look out! This one took me a little longer because of a more detailed background. I've been practicing with a new technique in the layerpaint app on my tablet. I have to tell ya, I really like the painterly style I'm able to achieve with this little app. ^^Time: 3.5 hours

I'm using the Penabled Tablet Pc Eraser Pen I ordered from Amazon: amzn.com/B000085BDB
I chose this one over others for the eraser pen part. Nice little stylus. I'm pretty happy with it. It might feel small and light in some hands compared to the the thicker intuos stylus.
