Thank you. This was done in ink - the bird and the outlines of the flowers - and colour pencil.

Love the negative space. Really draws the eye to the details of the bird and flowers.

I have discovered my love for ancient Asian art, and the way they use space in their (scroll) paintings. I am still experimenting and try to embrace this technique of dividing canvas space.

Thank you very much! It's done with pencil, coloured pencil, ink, and a tiny bit of photoshop to adjust the colours - the pink is just not as vibrant in reality.
