My niece wanted to know what sort of typewriter he was typing on, so you might want to check that dating yourself thing (you don't even get a break when you change the word's definition). Personlly, I found it a hoot--it reminds me of many a CO who just handed ME the damn (report, inventory, story whatever) and told ME to do it.
They were usually very sorry afterwards. Apparently the word 'boob' is now part of a listing of words one can not use in an officer's performance report...
