~Fisherx12 and I were battling for the *pokedorks Wi-Fi battle tournament. We ended up having charizard VS Dragonite and I just had to draw it or my head would explode. This exact battle had lost connection and we had to restart, but whatever..--
Okay, so here we have Legend the charizard
On his ankle is a device that can hold items, this one has a flame plate in it. He is preparing a dragon claw attack.
The Dragonite just used outrage.
Here are Legend's stats for those of you who are curious..

really god made and i love dragons but i think theyve made a fault in pokemon cuz to me gyrados dosent look like a dragon but it is i wonder why

Gyarados is meant to look like an oriental japanese/chinese dragon.

Not correct. It's not a dragon battle since Dragonite is Dragon type but Charizard is Fire type

I have the right to call it whatever I want. Charizard may not be dragon type, but it was still based off of a dragon. Both Dragonite and Charizard were considered the big bad dragons of their times - types didn't matter.
It's not that I'm not correct, it's that I just see tings a little differently than you.

I'm simply sticking to the original design, that's all. Otherwise anybody could turn him, I don't know, into Water type or Rock. Besides the type system is in the game for a reason

I meant that they both looked like dragons, whether or not they really were. I know that the type system is important. I've been playing and learning about pokemon for at least 10 years straight.
All in all, just because they aren't dragon types doesn't make them not dragons at all.

To be honest, if it would go by me I'd swap the types. Charizard to become Dragon Type and removing it from Dragonite. Never got while it had this type to begin with but most probably because of Japanese mythology. At last Charizard has dragon traits while Dragonite looks more like Barney the purple dinosaur dropped in a paint can
