Description
A tiny drawing of one of the main characters of George Sand's novels Consuelo and The Countess von Rudolstadt. I'll make a better scan soon. And, as I hope, finish my drawing of Consuelo. So there're supposed to be a pair of portraits. I just love this book, though it seemed boring at the beginning.I used Christian's Bale photo as a ref, but I didn't intend to catch the likliness. I just think that he perfectly fits for being or acting Albert.

Even though I totally fell for poor Captain Kreutz and his berries that were absolutely not from Sans Souci. I feel like such a philistine for shipping Frederick/Consuelo (especially since I think the good baron was probably gay in real life)!

It is classical novel that takes place in the 18th century in Venice and generally in Czech Republic and Austria. The books tell about love, politics of that time, some mystery and secret societies that have been popular in 18th century. Oh, and of course there's a lot of music (the lead character is a very talanted opera singer)

I've got an unfinished drawing of Consuelo herself. It is supposed to be a pair to Albert's portrait. I don't think I draw enyone else. These two impressed me most of all.

Не знаю, что это за персонаж, к сожалению, но он похож на Кристиана Бейла, выглядит замечательно!

I have to admit I read only these two books, about Consuelo. But it influenced me a lot. Just a breathtaking novel

my fave (apart form Consuelo) are Indiana, la Mare au Diable and François le Champi, though I don't know the titles in English or Russian...
I haven't forgotten about the wedding, but I replace another teacher this week and I'm kindda overloaded with work
